Research in the service of social justice.

Our Process

Step 1: Who You Are

You are an individual, organization, or group oriented towards social justice. You come with expertise and knowledge of your program(s) and the communities you serve. You have a desire to engage and learn from the people most directly impacted by your program or policy.

Step 2: Who We Are

We are experienced researchers with a community-based focus and a commitment to doing research in flexible, responsive, and culturally relevant ways. We use our expertise to help you assess community needs, pinpoint your program’s strengths and challenges, and craft a narrative that brings your program impact to life.

Step 3: How We Work Together

We collaborate with you fully throughout the research process, from developing the research plan to sharing the results. We prioritize community collaboration and involvement in research. We love sharing the research skills we’ve learned and frequently build in data collection and data analysis training, so you can carry the work forward when the project ends.

Step 4: The Impact

We learn from each other. We co-distribute the research findings to everyone involved in the study and more broadly as applicable. You use the findings to develop and modify programming, advocate for increased funding, and share program impact with a variety of audiences. Learn more about our mission and vision here.
